GLBTA Resource Center at American University
The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Ally Resource Center (GLBTA Resource Center) is a University office which works to heighten awareness of issues dealing with sexual orientation. The Center is staffed by undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and members of the University administration. The staff provides academic advice, peer support, referrals, and resource information on sexual minority issues. Acknowledging and supporting the diversity in the University community, the GLBTA Resource Center is a safe space that all members of the University community are welcome to visit to explore the many aspects of human sexuality in an open, non-prejudicial atmosphere. We encourage you to stop by the GLBTA Resource Center during office hours (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday). The GLBTA Resource Center is available other times by appointment.
