- The Community of Welcoming Congregations (CWC) is a Portland metropolitan area association of communities of faith that welcome and affirm people of all sexual orientations. We celebrate the image of our Loving Creator in every person. We understand human sexuality to be a gift from the Creator, which enriches our lives. We affirm all relationships that are founded on the principles of love andjustice. We pledge that all who wish to join us on our faith journeys will be respected as children of God. We welcome you to worship with us.
