- Renegades Rugby
- The Washington Renegades is a Division III club affiliated with the Potomac Rugby Union and a member of USA Rugby. We provide a solid rugby and social experience for both seasoned players and newcomers to the sport.

- Four-time Gay and Lesbian World Champions! DCAC is Washington, D.C.'s totally cool, high energy, all-inclusive competitive masters swimming team. Our 200+ members (60 women and 150 men) range in age from 19 to 80 and in ability from fitness swimmers to former Olympic team members. With well over 100 nationally-ranked swimmers or relay teams and a slew of U.S. and FINA World records to their credit, this is one hot group of jocks. - GLBTA Resource Center at American University
- The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Ally Resource Center (GLBTA Resource Center) is a University office which works to heighten awareness of issues dealing with sexual orientation. The Center is staffed by undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and members of the University administration. The staff provides academic advice, peer support, referrals, and resource information on sexual minority issues.
Acknowledging and supporting the diversity in the University community, the GLBTA Resource Center is a safe space that all members of the University community are welcome to visit to explore the many aspects of human sexuality in an open, non-prejudicial atmosphere. We encourage you to stop by the GLBTA Resource Center during office hours (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday). The GLBTA Resource Center is available other times by appointment.
