International Bear Rendezvous is an annual gathering of bears and bear-lovers held in San Francisco. It is hosted by the Bears of San Francisco, who conceived of Rendezvous as a weekend of fun and fund-raising, intended to foster a sense of community among participants while at the same time raising money for agencies serving the gay and HIV communities at the local, state, and national level.
